Abstract:

The review outlines the major topics of the conference on the American Studies held by RSUH in May 2017. The conference was dated to the centenary of the 1917 revolutions in Russia and was aimed at the interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary discussion of the American revolution’s I-concept as well as the Americans’ perception of revolutionary experience outside the United States in comparative context.
