Abstract:

The article is dedicated to the memorable date — the birth centenary of one of the most outstanding Latin American writers of the 20th century — Juan Rulfo (1917– 1984). The article includes a review on his work and a translation of the interview to the newspaper “¡Siempre!” (1973) where the famous writer speaks of the literary vocation and the secrets of mastery.
